Yeah I know – same person two weeks in a row, but this really is my song of the last week. I’ve had it on my iTunes for maybe 3 weeks and have listened to it 91 times (mostly in the last 7 days). This is more than any other song on my iTunes, by 21 plays (number 2 is a Missy Higgins song that’s been my favourite for 4 years). It’s just so catchy! I think I may be addicted o.O
Youtube won’t let me embed the actual video so this is a ‘live’ performance (which is not actually live – she never thought she could sing well so never performed live in the UK. Apparently she did in the US, and quite successfully, but I can’t find a video of it).
Not Music Monday-related, today I had my first day’s work in a library! I shelved books, picked books to send to community libraries on 6 week loans (ohai Richard Dawkins, baby names, and Captain Bluebear!), and put stamps, tape, and tracking devices on new books. It was awesome.
Then I went with my friend to her scan (another first for me!) and held onto her wee one while we watched the new wee one on the screen. Pretty cool.

Well I managed to get thou the whole song this time so it must an improvement over last weeks Billie Piper song . Cone Head you have been volunteered for so that it is a wonder that the town you are living in ever functioned without you .
Yay! So is working in library exciting? Colleen works part-time in the New Brighton one and really likes it.
Aww! I saw some printed ultrasound photos of my OSCAR supervisor’s new grandson a few weeks ago and all the kids were like “WTF is that!?” and I was like “OMGZ! Awwww! So cute! O hai bebeh!” Is this O’s mother? Was baby doing anything particularly exciting while being scanned?
@ Luke: Lol yeah I wasn’t expecting this would be your kind of music!
@ Holly: I am jealous of Colleen! The library is fun….still fighting the urge to reshelve Sylvia Browne et al in Fiction. Nope not O’s mum, A’s mum lol. Baby in tummy kept moving around (as did baby not in tummy, akshully, we had to go for a wee walk to stop her whinging lol) and obscuring certain parts that mum wanted to look at for purposes of buying correctly-coloured clothes
There was one particularly awesome screenshot of the baby going in for a fist bump though!
LOL! How old is Baby-Not-In-Tummy? Will they be Irish twins?
LMAO at the fist bump! That’s awesome. Tell her to save it for his/her 21st. Either that or LOLcaption it!
@ Holly: Lol @ Irish twins. Nah Baby-not-in-tummy just turned one last month so there’ll be a good 18 months between them.
